On November 13, 2021, the Childress County Sheriff’s office has caused to be impounded three black cows that were found estray on some land in the far eastern edge of Childress County south of the Red River. The cattle will be sold at the Hollis Livestock Auction in Hollis Oklahoma on Saturday December 4, 2021, if an owner cannot be located.
